IA Defensa offers you specialized complementary protection for your online privacy and security through unorthodox, asymmetric mini-tools. These tools add to your defense options, either making it easier for you to spot threats or making it more expensive for others to be a threat.
IA Defensa’s roots lie in the Snowden era, when it was well-documented how the right to privacy was under attack globally. New Tab Traffic Randomizer (2016) was an early proof of concept for a defense tool, one that was improved in the respective IA Defensa extension.
The need for special tools has since been underscored by the impunity with which state actors disregard human rights and international law, indicating a failure of institutional protections.
IA Defensa’s portfolio is being extended both vertically (e.g., for other browser engines) and horizontally (e.g., covering additional areas in need of digital defensive capabilities).
